Friday, October 26th, 2007

About ten years ago when I first met BetaMike I was introduced to “They Might Be Giants” (TMBG).
Up until then my only knowledge of music depended on Vestal Goodman and Jake Hess.

Dan Abrams, General Manager of MsNBC has been off the air lately but looks like they need to fill in the 9pm to 10pm slot so he is back on the air. He’s funny and dresses well. (and yes I might have said nice things about him if he were ugly)

Oscar-winner Jane Wyman dies at 93…

Monday, September 10th, 2007

Way back in 1981 when I was thirteen years-old I started watching “Falcon Crest” on CBS.  There I was every Friday night at 10:00 pm camped out in front of the television to watch Jane Wyman as Angela Channing.
Of course, one of the reasons I liked Jane Wyman was because she had sense enough to […]

Charles Nelson Reilly (1931-2007)

Friday, June 1st, 2007

In all the activities of this past week or so, I forgot to mention that Charles Nelson Reilly passed away.
I remember watching “Match Game” as a child and thinking he was so funny. I was always attracted comedically to him, Rip Taylor, and Paul Lynde (for obvious reasons…).
Where are the truly funny people now? Not […]

While watching the Atlanta Braves play ball tonight against the Colorado Rockies I have discovered my new boyfriend, 26 year-old Jeffrey William Francis. (We have the same middle name, isn’t that cute?)
At six feet, five inches tall and 200 pounds, Jeff is a force to be reckoned with on the mound.
The pitching mound that is. […]

Had a wonderful time at “Taste” visiting with Jeff Lindberg, his BF the lovely Dan, and a bunch of other tallish folks.
Yes, it was windy and my hair blew away (By the way if you found a grayish hairpiece laying in the middle of Edgewater Drive on Saturday night, please let me know).

In the photo […]
